Born and educated in France, where he learned English, German and Russian in addition to his native French, Jean-Marc Guilloux received in 1983 an Electrical Engineering degree from the Institut National Polytechnique of Toulouse.

After ten years of worldwide experience as a commissioning manager for Schneider Electric, Mr. Guilloux was transferred to the USA with his family for electrical engineering assignments in Ohio and then in Georgia. He subsequently started working as an independent consultant in 1995, and the family settled in Virginia in 1998.

Since then, Mr. Guilloux has been providing his services to U.S. and European companies that need international, multilingual and cross-cultural expertise in electrical engineering. He has been involved in specification, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting or training for some of the world’s largest static power conversion equipments, for various companies that include General Electric, Alstom, Exxon, NASA, Rio Tinto Alcan, and in remote areas of Siberia, India, Middle East and Africa. He has also developed technical translation services, and is certified by the American Translators Association for translation from English into French.

From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Guilloux has been instrumental in establishing the U.S. operations of the Jérôme Lejeune Foundation, acting as its U.S. executive director from June 2010 to June 2012.

Jean-Marc and his wife Valérie have six children, one of whom has Down syndrome.
