We really appreciate your support for our mission of research, care, and advocacy for children and adults living with Down syndrome and other genetic intellectual disabilities. Thanks to YOU, we are making the future better for these individuals. Please read over these guidelines so that you can be certain to submit the donations you collect properly.

A donation form can be found here. Please have your donors fill out the form, and keep them in a secure place while your event is going on. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations to the Jerome Lejeune Foundation are fully deductible from federal income tax. It is important that donors supply their contact information so that we can provide a formal acknowledgement letter and tax receipt to thank them for their gift. (Please note: We will mail receipts directly to donors using the address they provide, so any donation received without a full name and address will not receive acknowledgment.) Thanking donors is one of the most important steps in fundraising, and a personal thank you from you is a great idea to let them know you appreciate their support as much as we do!

Submitting Donations

Once you have received all of the donations from your fundraising initiative, you can mail forms and donations to us:

For security reasons, please convert any cash donations to check or money order before mailing. Checks should be made payable to the Jerome Lejeune Foundation. Donors should be acknowledged in a timely manner, so please send in donations and forms as quickly as possible.
