Support the Jerome Lejeune USA Foundation in the Race Across America
A great achievement for the cause of Down Syndrome!
3,000 miles from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD in 8 days, 20 hours and 18 minutes… The leaderboard of this 2012 edition of the Race Across America is the proof that our two champions are official finishers! All the way for Down Syndrome! Marc and Patrick Leblond, the two French American brothers, finished on June 25 the 2012 edition of the Race Across America. Here is the testimony we want to share with you.
The race is over, but Down’s syndrome is still there. One of the racers at the award ceremony, running for a foundation for kids with cancer said:
“RAAM is hard, but the big difference is, you can stop at any time if you want. Those kids cannot”.
We continue. You continue. Let us follow these boys’ example.
We have many more stories, fun and painful both, which we have not had time to share. Stay tuned.
The cause continues…
